I've stayed in many RV parks, this one is very nice, clean! Very well maintained, the managers and maintenance are very friendly, helpful, and definitely the reason stay here and always return, that's why everyone just wants to be here permanently! Also within 5 miles is everything you need! Great place and people
Nice rv park. We stayed 2 different times. One of those we came in the early morn hours and they were gracious enough to only charge us for 1 day. Has laundry, showers, on edge of town, so easy in and out to stores, etc. Great owner. She gave us some good tips, was VERY friendly and helpful. Will try come back.
The whole place smells like the sewer. Why? Because the septic hook ups are improperly installed. You must have a special adaptor to hook up. If you do not have one. " Use duct tape." The managers exact words. So spilled septic is the smell that hits you when you open the door.
We tried several times to see if spaces where avalible. After 5 or 6 times driving through in the late after noon, seing spaces open and talking to the femail manager who all ways said no. We called. She said yes. The disappointment on her face when we showed up said everything.
She pounded on the window of our truck like a crazed banchie because someone's dog craped on the lawn. Defiantly wasn't our dog. We bag. But In her mind the appropriate way to deal with a dog pile was to scream, and threaten assault while pounding on our truck window. My wife who is very pregnant with twins looked at me and said. "There is no way she treats any of the other customers this way."
We stayed for a month this July. The one good thing about the park is the numerous trees providing shade in some sites. The biggest problem for us was the lack of a legitimate sewer connection. There was NO WAY to actually connect to the sewer so we asked the manager what we should do, and she said to use duct tape to hold it together. We used Gorilla tape to be sure it was taped as good as possible but no matter what we did the raw sewage always leaked out all over the ground. We noticed other RVers having the same problem. It was ridiculous. We often had the smell of sewage wafting through our site. There are also multiple areas of goathead or puncture vine weeds in the park. This often made taking a walk miserable for us and our dog. We will not return.
The old lady is a out right racist. Its rare now days to run into liberals who are this racists but it still happens.
We had a whorable experience here.
The location is fairly utilitarian, but the manager that greeted us was friendly and very helpful.
We where kicked out after 2 days. Why?
We are a conservative mixed race family. I am white My wife is black our son is mixed.
Also we where accused of fighting. B.S.. We never even raised our voices once.
"Complaints ". Apparently our 4 month old puppy tried to attack someone. B.S.. He was always on a leash and would lick someone to death.
